Before moving to Houston with her family, Shal practiced at one of Malaysia's largest plastic surgery centers, where she gained extensive experience in medical aesthetics and patient care. After relocating to Houston, she spent more than 15 years helping clients navigate acne and achieve lasting skin confidence. Through her work developing the Clear Skin Protocol at AcneFix, Shal repeatedly saw haircare products standing in the way of skin progress. Time and time again, clients were investing in their skin while unknowingly using products that worked against their results. Le Klir was born from her belief that people shouldn't have to choose between healthy hair and clear skin.

Danielle's personal journey with hormonal acne led her to Shal. As a longtime client, she experienced firsthand how difficult it was to find products that aligned with her skin goals. Over the years, conversations during treatments revealed a larger problem. People were investing in their skin while unknowingly using products that worked against their progress. Together, Danielle and Shal set out to create the solution they couldn't find—haircare designed to support healthy hair without compromising clear skin.
